Within easy reach of the M5 without the noise. The Colesbourne is an old coaching Inn dating back to 1827, set in the heart of the picture postcard Cotswold countryside. Located 14 minutes from Cheltenham Spa England's most complete Regency town and 14 minutes from the Roman town of Cirencester, 'Capital of the Cotswolds'. Not all the surrounding villages are well known, and today many still hold their secrets. Amongst the treasures to be found are Painswick, Biddestone and Winchcombe all hidden villages off the beaten track. The National Waterways Museum Gloucester (7 Miles) unveils the mystery and history behind the 200 year old tale of inland waterways and fortunes lost and gained. Cotswold Farm Park (13 Miles) has over 50 breeding flocks and herds of fascinating British Breeds of sheep, cattle, pigs, goats, horses, poultry and waterfowl. Owlpen Manor (12 Miles) one of the most romantic small Tudor manor houses in the West of England. Occupying two acres, the Colesbourne Inn has nine totally refurbished letting rooms, a restaurant, traditional bar including a drinks terrace with stunning Cotswold country views and extensive gardens.
