It is located approximately 25 miles from Cardiff city centre and the fantastic coastline is only a 10-minute drive away. Bridgend train and bus stations are easy to reach. The property offers an ideal central base from which to explore the many attractions of South Wales. Within a short drive guests can reach the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, The Museum of Welsh Life and Ewenny Pottery. Cardiff International Airport is also accessible by car. This Victorian mansion provides a cosy and secluded hideaway, looking out over the picturesque Vale of Glamorgan. The property comprises a total of 28 guest rooms. It is ideal for business or leisure, with an on-site conference room and wedding venue. There is ample free parking available. Further facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a cloakroom, lift access, a restaurant, Internet access, room and laundry services and a car park. Each of the 35 luxurious en-suite bedrooms are distinctly decorated and furnished elegantly with modern amenities and a host of thoughtful extras to help guests enjoy their stay. Most bedrooms have inspiring views over the Vale or the surrounding woodlands. Each room comes with a shower and bathtub, as well as a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a satellite/cable television, Internet access, tea and coffee making facilities and an iron and ironing board. There is a hotel gym and a sauna. Guests can choose from fine dining in the elegant Eliot Restaurant or lighter fare in the beautiful lounge. If they prefer, guests can dine al fresco by the outdoor swimming pool or have a picnic prepared and enjoy the spectacular local views. By car: Leave the M4 at Junction 35 (Pencoed) and take the A473 towards Bridgend for about 1.6 km. Take the right-hand turn off the dual carriageway into Coychurch. Go through the village until a petrol station comes into view on the right-hand side. Take the right-hand turn directly before the petrol station and continue up the hill for about 2.2 km.
