The Coconut Villa Resort & Spa hotel is located on Thong Tanote beach, a secluded sandy beach on the south coast of Koh Samui, offering the breathtaking scenery of the Gulf of Thailand and Koh Tan and Matsum Islands. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the town centre at Nathorn Pier, with its shopping venues and tourism centre. Samui bus station is also 15 minutes' drive away and it is 30 km to Koh Samui Airport. This beach resort, nestled amongst beautifully sculptured gardens and filled with swaying coconut trees and a soothing gentle breeze from the sea, offers guests warmth, peace and relaxation on their holiday. It comprises a total of 53 accommodation units including rooms, suites and 7 villas, and features a garden and a terrace. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-in/check out service, a caf, a hairdressing salon, a bar, a games room, a TV lounge and a restaurant. The hotel also offers conference facilities, WLAN/Internet access, room and laundry services and a playground for younger guests (charges apply). Guests may also take advantage of the bicycle hire and there is parking and a garage for those arriving by car. The hotel provides a fresh romantic approach, with attentive design especially suited to honeymooners or couples seeking a romantic getaway. All rooms are equipped with a king-size coconut-wood bed, individually adjustable air conditioning and heating, minibar and a TV with DVD player. Furthermore, a private en suite bathroom with shower/bathtub, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, Internet access and tea and coffee making facilities are provided in all accommodation as standard. There is a safe and either a balcony or a terrace. The hotel features 2 outdoor swimming pools including a children's section. One located near the beach and the other situated at the back of the resort, near the superior and deluxe pool-view rooms. There is a poolside snack bar and guests may relax on the sun loungers, in the solarium or with a massage or spa treatment (both for an additional fee). For an extra charge, they may enjoy motor boating, diving, catamaran sailing, horse riding, mountain biking or beach volleyball. The hotel has special entertainment programmes for children and adults (extra charges apply). The hotel serves a daily breakfast buffet. The midday and evening meals may be enjoyed either la carte or from a set menu. The hotel has a 24-hour reception service at the front desk.
