We are situated down a private country lane 10 minutes North East of the Historic City of York, the ideal place to base yourself for touring the North York Moors National Park, Yorkshire's wonderful coastline and of course York with it's many treasures. Claxton Hall Cottage Bed and Breakfast, originally part of the Walker family estate has beamed ceilings, log fires, four poster beds and period furniture, your comfort is our main priority. All the rooms are en-suite, our family live in the adjoining cottage, near enough to care for your needs, but giving guests the freedom to relax and enjoy their holiday. The beauty of this is that you can book a single room or the entire cottage and still know that we will be on hand to prepare your breakfast and care for you. Your stay with us is made as relaxing as possible starting with home baked cake and tea on arrival, if the full English breakfast does not appeal you can even request a Continental breakfast in your room. If you wish to be out of the hustle and bustle of the City, have no parking problems and relax in a quiet location, Claxton Hall Cottage is the place for you. Once checked in you have 24 hour access to the property and can come and go as you please.
