The hotel also has two meeting rooms that accommodate up to 60 people for most events and business functions. Access to copy and fax services is offered as an added convenience. Furthermore, the hotel offers currency exchange, laundry facilities, relax area with sauna, steam room and gym, bicycle rentals and indoor car parking is available on the property for a small fee. Trondheim has a rich cultural life. The city has a modern theater with a long history and a well-established position in Scandinavia. As a result of the traditional celebration of St. Olav's Day at the end of July every year, Nidaros Cathedral (Nidarosdomen) has developed into a thriving church music center. The city of Trondheim is great to visit anytime of the year. Tourists flock here in the summer when it never really gets dark and visitors can stroll down the peaceful city streets or sample some of the exciting nightlife. Rooms are small to medium in size and in good condition decorated in warm earthy tones and with beech wood furnishings. Bathrooms are tiled and in good condition. The Clarion Collection Hotel Bakeriet is centrally located within walking distance of Old City Bridge (Gamle Bybro), the central station and the islet of Munkholmen, also known as Monk's Island and only minutes from OlavsHallen concert hall, the Royal Residence in Trondheim (Stiftsgarden), the Kristiansten Fortress and Lerkendal Stadion football stadium. The hotel offers an organic breakfast buffet as well as afternoon tea and light evening buffet served in the restaurant area which is in the inner courtyard of the hotel providing an outdoor feeling inside with a large glass atrium. The floor is tiled and it is a spacious room where in line with the history of the building fresh bread is baked inhouse every morning. The hotel is in a white historical building which was originally a bakery back in the 1800's. The lobby is small with a reception desk and some seating area and decorated in warm earthy colours with tiled floors and light wood furnishings.
