It is four miles from the city center, nine miles from Midway Airport, and 22 miles from O'Hare International Airport. The property is minutes from US Cellular Field, the Museum of Science and Industry, the University of Chicago, DuSable Museum of African American History, Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, Soldier Field, and Navy Pier. The hotel has easy access to Interstates 55 and 90/94 and Lake Shore Drive. Public transportation is readily available. The 29/State Street bus stops at the hotel and provides inexpensive and reliable transportation with connections to the Elevated Train system and the rest of Chicago. Maps of the entire Chicago Transit system are available online. Travelers commuting from the Midway or O'Hare International airports may want to consider Airport Express Shuttle or Omega Shuttle service.
