The hotel is situated at 3 km to the north-west of Perigueux and near the road of Angouleme. It is 65 km from Angouleme, from Bordeaux and from Limoges. The hotel is encircled by a vast park with centenarian trees. The Vesunna Museum is only approx. 2 km from the hotel, and Bordeaux-Mrignac Airport is approx. 65 km away. Built in 1856, this historic, family-friendly hotel is a smart realization of the Napoleon III epoch. The hotel has been completely renovated and now features an original signature design by the Esprit de Chteau team, which fulfils customers' demands for beauty and comfort. The hotel has 8 rooms and 5 suites in the castle and offers guests facilities including a reception lobby, hotel safe, a bar, breakfast room, conference facilities, Internet access and room service. The hotel also provides a car park. All rooms and suites feature their own bathroom with bathtub, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, minibar and a safe. The rooms feature either double or king-size beds. A tennis lesson or a dip in the swimming pool are provided as activities to liven up every guest's stay. There are parasols by the swimming pool for guests to use. There is also an 18-hole golf course located 500 m from the hotel, where guests are more than welcome to play a round. All meals are served in the castle's comfortable dining room or, weather permitting, on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool and park. A breakfast buffet is served daily, and lunch and dinner may be ordered la carte or as a set menu meal. Coming from Prigueux: follow direction to Angouleme and follow direction to Ribrac Chancelade. At the crossroad, turn on the left (brown city signs give the direction). 100 m further, at the round-about, follow direction to Chancelade on the right D1 (brown city road signs give the direction to the Castle) and will find the Castle 200 m further on the right.
