Welcome to Charcoa House, a charming bed and breakfast hotel conveniently located on a quiet lane in the historic old city of Chiang Mai. Once a traditional Lanna (northern Thai) guesthouse and restaurant run by a local family, thetwo-story property was completely renovated and modernized in 2008 by the original owner's son and his wife. These two talented architects combined eclectic European design touches and natural Lanna materials to create their very special hotel and restaurant. To maximize available space, they added cozy seating areas and soft lighting details to the leafy hotel courtyard and restaurant. Each of the beautifully maintained 12 rooms offers contemporary comfort and amenities in this unique EuropeanLanna style. The adjacent Charcoa Bakery and Restaurant is locally renowned for its large menu of delicious international meals, tasty Thai specialties and scrumptious home-made bakery items.
