Chalet La Maitreya is a place of peace. The place is all about honest, unpretentious authenticity and will offer a space to breathe where one can enjoy nature in her pure unspoilt state. Architecturally, the style has not progressed much beyond the traditional Oisans style, but La Maitreya has got a decor that seems spontaneous and ingenious. Guests have dinner together at a huge table in the 500 years old converted cellar and the rooms range from a simple but stylish old farmers room to the spacious, old timber and wood-panelled top floor room. They are all different, but the thing they have in common is a natural, unforced charm and the cosiness of a highly individual place.
