The hotel is situated on the North Wales coast overlooking the spectacular Menai Straits. It is within easy reach of Snowdonia and only 26 miles from Holyhead - the gateway to Ireland. It is in the centre of famous Caernarfon, and provides easy access to major towns such as Chester, Manchester and Liverpool. This is an impressive 3 star hotel, and has a traditional and luxurious feel. A leisure centre is also available with gym, indoor pool, sauna and steam room. A great hotel for leisure guests who are looking for a relaxing break or to explore the Northern Welsh countryside. A restored listed building dating back to 1841, with impressive Georgian architecture spread across 3 floors. The 110 bedrooms are of a medium size and decorated to a very good standard in a luxurious traditional style. All rooms have been completely refurbished and the hotel now have a number of disabled rooms. The lobby is of a large size and is grand in appearance. It is decorated in a luxurious yet traditional decor and has a warm welcoming ambience. A lounge area and additional seating are available just off the reception area. There is a more formal restaurant as well as a less formal bar menu available all day. The formal restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine with a contemporary flair. 95 kms to the nearest airport (manchester).
