Located in the heart of Champoluc's historical centre, the hotel is just 7 minutes walk from the winter ski lifts and perfectly placed for all summer hikes. The hotel has 32 rooms with ensuite bathrooms complete with all creature comforts to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The chef prepares an interesting and appetizing menu with both local traditional and national Italian dishes. The hotel offers a selection of first and second courses each day complete with fresh salad buffet, local fresh cheeseboard and an array of home-made desserts if any space remains! We pride ourselves on the well stocked wine cellar with over 150 excellent local and national Italian red and white wines to choose from. The cosy and intimate bar is a relaxing place to wind down after your day in the mountains and the hotel offers free tea and home-made biscuits between 4. 30 and 5. 30 each day. On occasions, a little evening entertainment may be organised in the bar. We like to create a real "home from home" atmosphere, offering a touch more than your expectations. Four generations of the family have successfully run the Hotel Castor since 1907 and the 5th generation is growing rapidly! With over 100 years of experience in hospitality, we very much hope that you too will be come part of the family of guests at the Hotel Castor.
