It may not be run by a family as such but the managers Sean Gerrard, Glyn and Jessica Bridgeman have managed to re-create a homely atmosphere by concentrating on their guests' needs from the food in the restaurant to the fine quality linens on the beds. As the Castle hotel is run by restaurateurs, it's no surprise that the food here is spectacular. The majority of produce used in the kitchens comes from Glaisfer Uchaf - a family farm and the rest is from local suppliers so you can imagine the quality of the meat and poultry! The hotel bar is the place to sample a guest ale, bottle of wine, even a coffee and a pastry.
