The beautiful apartment complex Castello di Monteliscai near Siena, was built before the year 1000 - but better information points to the year 1101 during the ancient Sienese Republic - and is situated on the summit of a hill in one of the most strategic panoramic positions of the area, only 3 km from Siena and near the Chianti region. Each apartment recently underwent careful restoration to maintain original architectonic and decorative details. The Malafrasca Farm located next to the apartment complex, and run by the same owners, produces d.o.c.g. Chianti wine, extra virgin olive oil, Vin Santo and Chianti grappa.
