Casale Pundarika is a Tuscan country house in the South of the Province of Pisa. It is nestled in the folds of a typical Tuscan hillside that gently rolls along the Mediterranean shore. Florence is just at an hour by car, the next beach at twenty minutes. The closest village to get at by bus is Riparbella, at an easy walking distance of about a kilometre. At the Casale, one immediately notices the purity of the air and the deep silence of the surroundings. The house is embedded in a vast, wooded property, that invites to long hikes. One will hardly ever meet anybody on the tracks meandering through the typically Mediterranean vegetation. But with just a little luck and patience, one can see much of the local wildlife, including foxes, boars, squirrels, falcons and buzzards.
