The pleasant Calos I is a beach hotel located in the tourist area of Benidorm, just 5 minutes from the city centre. Guests will find public transport within 50 metres of the hotel and slightly further away are scores of shops and restaurants. The beach, bars, pubs and nightclubs are all 10 minutes from the hotel. The hotel was built in 1972 and renovated in 1999 and consists of 197 rooms spread over 7 floors. 26 of the rooms are singles and 171 are doubles. Guests are offered use of a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a caf, a games room, an air-conditioned restaurant (highchairs available for children) and a garage. Room and laundry services are available as well as medical assistance. The en suite rooms are welcoming and come equipped with a hairdryer, parquet floorboards, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, air conditioning, central heating and a safe. Some rooms include a terrace. The hotel has a swimming pool, a poolside snack bar and sun loungers. There is also the opportunity to join the water aerobics classes, enjoy a massage, a Jacuzzi, a sauna, a solarium and the gym. The seasonal entertainment programme rounds off the hotel's offerings. It is approximately 10 km to the nearest golf course. Guests are offered a buffet each morning, midday and evening. In addition, the hotel also caters for guests with special dietary requirements.
