The Cardrona Hotel, settled in the midst of beautiful Cardrona Valley, is one of New Zealand’s oldest hotels. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and historic areas, and it gives guests easy access to Wanaka, with is cute restaurants and shops, and the larger Queenstown, which is only forty minutes away. The Cardrona Hotel is easily accessible by car. It is about twenty minutes away from downtown Wanaka. The rooms of the Cardrona Hotel include en suite bathrooms with showers; one of the larger rooms also has a bathtub. The bedrooms are decorated in warm colors with high-quality bedding, and all the rooms have heating, Sky TV, telephones, and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel includes nine queen bedrooms, three rooms with one queen and two twin beds, and two rooms with two single beds. This hotel offers guests a taste of the past with its historic architecture and décor. The Cardrona Hotel holds a lot of history from New Zealand’s gold rush era.
