The Capital Gateway Motor Inn sits just off Highway 1 at the top of the Ngauranga Gorge. The hotel is very close to a large shopping center, and it allows guests to be close to Wellington with all its interesting attractions. The hotel is set on a large lot where guests can walk and relax. The Capital Gateway Motor Inn is easily accessible by car, and guests can easily drive the seven minutes into Wellington, or they can use the hotel as a convenient home base while exploring the region around Wellington. The forty rooms of this hotel are outfitted for convenient long-term vacations.
