Choose Cabanas Tautira for your trip to Rapa Nui. These self-catering apartments provide comfortable Easter Island accommodation just 1 block from the main avenue of Hanga Roa. Each cabana (cabin) has a kitchette that’s well equipped for you to prepare your own meals, with a microwave, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and plenty of cutlery, utensils, and cookware. There’s also a dining table with chairs, and a private terrace. The accommodation provides free shuttle service to and from Mataveri International Airport, and guests receive a welcome gift upon arrival. Cabanas Tautira is located on the southwest corner of the island of Rapa Nui, called Isla de Pascua in Spanish and Easter Island in English. Within walking distance are the stores and restaurants of Hanga Roa, the main town, as well as the island’s only supermarket and pharmacy. From the apartments you can easily walk to see the Moai at the Ahu (ceremonial platform) at Tahai. Farther north, at Ahu Akivi, are the only the inland Moai on the island; they face directly into the sunset during the spring and autumn equinox.
