The Hotel Ca Maria Adele is a charming boutique hotel housed within a 16th century palazzo, overlooking the Grand Canal and 300 metres from St Mark's Square. Five of the hotel's 14 guestrooms are themed (Doge, Fireside, Moorish, Oriental, Sala Noir) and are opulently decorated with brocade wallpaper, classical furnishings and plush bedding. All other rooms feature neutral decor in warm tones of sand and wood, with luxurious bedding, embossed wallpaper, dark wood furniture and stone floors. Rooms offer views of the canal or Church of Madonna della Salute and include air conditioning, satellite television, wireless Internet connections, minibars with complimentary soft drinks, hair dryers and bathrobes. Guests can enjoy an American breakfast in the hotel's opulent breakfast room with its damask drapes and Murano chandelier, and then plan a day of sightseeing with the assistance of the hotel's multilingual staff and tour assistance service. Maps are also available free from reception. Guests have use of the nearby fitness centre, while for those seeking a quiet meal or a late night snack, 24-hour room service is available. Evening drinks can be taken on the hotel terrace, with its scatter of oriental silk cushions and Moroccan-inspired decor. The hotel's central location means that guests are 10 metres from both the Grand Canal and Church of Madonna della Salute, while the Guggenheim Museum is 200 metres away and St Mark's Square is 300 metres from the hotel. Venice Marco Polo Airport is seven kilometres away. A regular waterboat service and water taxis run from the airport to Venice. There are also scheduled bus services to Padua, Mestre and Venice. Venice-Mestre railway station is connected to the airport by a bus service that runs every 20 minutes.
