Situated in a side street just off Bayswater Road, five minutes walk from Queensway underground station and a short walk from Hyde Park. Although the rooms are very small, the high quality and taste of the decor, and practical location for London sightseeing makes this a very attractive hotel. The hotel is a converted Victorian townhouse with a pale blue facade and white windows. Although a very small area with limited seating, decorated in pale green and cream, it is a cosy, welcoming area. Each room is personalised by the name of a British country house instead of a number, and each has a slightly different decor. The bedrooms are in exceptional condition, whilst the bathrooms are in very good condition. The restaurant is modern in style with a light colour scheme, pine furniture and unusual stained glass windows. 1 km to the nearest station (paddington), 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 15 kms to the airport (heathrow), 3 km to the nearest fair site (earls court), 3 minute walk to the nearest metro station (queensway & bayswater), 45 kms to the airport (gatwick).
