Run by owners Val and Keith Anderson, the four star Butterchurn Guest House in the heart of the village of Otterburn provides a warm welcome and friendly family atmosphere. The large stone built house offers excellent year round accommodation. It is an ideal base for those wishing to explore the unspoilt and historic landscapes of Northumbria. Otterburn is situated on the edge of the Northumberland National Park on the A696, making The Butterchurn Guest House a natural overnight stop en route to and from Scotland. Guests have all day access to their spacious rooms, the house, and the large garden, which runs down to the River Rede. Help yourself to cereal and fruit juice at the buffet table, followed by a full English breakfast. Relax in the comfortable TV and residents lounge, which you can use all day. There is ample off street private parking and secure storage for motor cycles and bicycles. Afternoon tea can be served upon request, either in the dining room,residents lounge or garden.
