The Burbury Hotel is set to open its doors in September 2011. Well located, superbly appointed, inspirational in its modern aesthetic and echoing the prestige of Barton and the Parliamentary Triangle , this new 4.5 star Canberra hotel also conveys the sheer tranquillity of the laneway it occupies while taking full advantage of the amenities available in the vibrant Realm precinct. The Burbury Hotel will lead a new era for the upper echelon of Canberra accommodation and for hotels in Canberra generally. In keeping with the exceptional standard of architecture and design of its award winning parent hotel, Hotel Realm, the Burbury Hotel is contemporary and efficient in fit out, furnished in the full array of superior in-room facilities and conceived for the corporate/business visitor and discerning traveller alike. With 73 exquisite hotel rooms, 15 one bedroom suites and 18 spacious apartments, the Burbury??s proximity to, and unique relationship with, the Realm precinct also invites guests to partake in all the amenities afforded Hotel Realm. Such features include: a health club with 25 metre indoor pool, spa and sauna; a revitalising day spa; varietal restaurants, high end hair salon; and a fully equipped business centre. All Hotel Burbury Rooms have King beds and full access to the Apple Mac-Mini in-room systems which provides a set top box functionality streaming TV, Foxtel and Video On Demand, also providing computer mode and USB dock, CD/DVD player and WiFi. With its own rooftop function space, the appeal of this new hotel is further realised through the nearby eating, shopping and entertainment destinations of Kingston and Manuka. Being so near Parliament House, as well as Canberra??s Government hub and CBD, also affirms the Burbury Hotel as the best new Canberra accommodation to emerge in 2011.
