Britona Riverside Retreat is a family-owned property with 3 independent apartments for rent, overlooking the Mandovi river. The house benefits from a unique location, on the bank of the Mandovi river at its widest point with a magnificent view of the well known Britona Church . The historic Sea Cathedral and the Church of the 'Infant Jesus' or 'Bom Jesu' Church which houses the 500 year relics of St Francis Xavier's are diagonally across the river from this point. The place features an atmosphere perfect for those averse to the crowded places on the tourist beat and who are seeking peaceful and serene surroundings. Whether one enjoys the quiet view of the occasional barge that softly rumbles its way up the river channel, or just watch fish jump right out of the water in great leaps or catch river crab when in season, the Retreat is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the restful side of Goa.
