Facing the Palais Bourbon (House of Parliament), at the beginning of the Boulevard Saint Germain, within walking distance to the Concorde Square and the Champs Elysees, nearby the Orsay Museum and the Invalides, the Bourgogne & Montana Hotel invites you to discover Paris in one of its most prestigious and quiet districts. The Bourgogne and Montana Boasts a long history, built in 1791, Converted into a Hotel in 1830, owned by M. Hurand since 1989. This Historical building stands behind the national assembly, and has the peaceful yet lively atmosphere of a Country House. Its outstanding location makes the Bourgogne et Montana a haven of peace in the heart of Paris. The hotel entrance leads to a light wood reception counter and to the hotels staircase and 1924 listed forged iron lift. The Hotel Lounge is an elegant space which has undergone complete refurbishment in 2007. Comfortable le Corbusier armchairs await you in a relaxing atmosphere. Ancient pieces of art and oil canvasses add a classic touch to the newly designed room. Equipped with a computer with high speed internet access, it is an ideal place to work or spend some time over a good book or a newspaper. All different, traditional and subtly rich looking, the bedrooms vary in tone,sometimes understated and sometimes romantic. Distinguished by their colour scheme and layout, they are elegant and welcoming. Solid wood furniture, antiques and designer fabric wall coverings create a charming style combining classic and contemporary features. The rooms are very quiet and overlook the rue de Bourgogne, the place du Palais bourbon or a little octagonal courtyard with a palm tree tucked in the corner. Those on the top floor have mansard roofs, which gives them a particular mellow charm, and some have wonderful views. Each guest room is equipped with air-conditioning, a large work desk,Free Internet wireless access and Satellite LCD television.
