In a fortunate position easily reachable by the ancient via Salaiola which was the way of the salt where loads of rock salt passing through Volterra to arrive at Empoli river, on a hill that dominates the Valley with views over Empoli, hills of Montalbano and view of the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano , rises Borgo San Giusto, originally formed by the Church of San Giusto, two buildings for centuries farmer’ s houses and a cellar for the production of wine. And it is in these spaces that are the rooms of the hotel which takes its name from the ancient village , a simple but cosy environment, which has kept the characteristics of the original buildings, all in accordance with that idea of typically of the place.
