An ancient rural village in the heart of Italy was transformed into a valuable accommodation centre thanks to an ambitious architectural project.The challenge was to renovate the old country houses next to Castello di Lanciano, in Castelraimondo (Macerata) and turn them into an enchanting "Relais Wellness" 4 stars, whilst preserving the environment, nature and local traditions.The high quality of services we offer and the successful integration of the centre into the surrounding environment, the gentle hills of "le Marche" and the Sibilini mountains is proof that our ideas have been realized. All this has been achieved through architectural designs in keeping with the existing local buildings. Relais Borgo di Lanciano is situated very close to Lanciano Castle which, together with a handful of other towers in the area, is today considered one of the "Celestial Rocks". Taking advantage of the absence of light pollution in the area and thanks to an initiative of the Camerino Mountain Community, they have been transformed into privileged sites from which to observe the celestial vault. The restaurant I due Angeli, refined and welcoming, has been divided into different spaces in order to satisfy each guest's need.On the ground floor there is a spacious room which overlooks the park and the hills surrounding the hotel and its large windows offer evocative and unforgettable views.In our restaurant you will be able to taste the plates of the international and traditional kitchen. From June 6 is opne Kimben Wellness Centre, with its particular and unique multi-sensory path, gives Borgo di Lanciano's guests the chance to try treatments and unique experiences and to enjoy a total relax and psycho-physic wellness.We offer sauna, hammam, swimming pools, Jacuzzi, Diamond Shower (Scottish Showers), massages, Kimben Diamond & Platinum White Mud Bath, and the exclusive NextWave Physio-Acoustic Therapy.
