Blue Mountains Manor House , the most prominent home erected in the late 1870's by J.R. Fairfax (S.M.H.) on the most commanding point at Mount Victoria. Blue Mountains Manor House is still a magnificent, rambling edifice constructed on solid stone foundations, embellished architecturally with cedar fittings. Sympathetic restoration has retained its impressive qualities, combined with an ambiance you can feel as you walk in the front door. Just when you think the last of the true old fashioned guesthouses are dead and buried, along comes Blue Mountains Manor House ...fast emerging as one of the best, old style getaways in the Blue Mountains. Good WeekendWe are extremely lucky in that Blue Mountains Manor House is in a quiet position. Most houses that have spanned 3 centuries have the highway or railway right on their doorstep. We enjoy the peaceful surrounds of grounds and a small 19th century village. The house has 13 ensuite rooms and 3 apartments all individually decorated with queen or king ensembles, feather doonas and electric blankets.
