Blue Aegean Aparthotel The Blue Aegean Aparthotel is situated in the resort area of Gouves, east of Heraklion, on the north east coast of Crete. This is an attractive hotel with a lovely pool area and just 50 metres away from the sandy beach. The aparthotel is extremely family friendly with a great play area plus the beautifully appointed apartments, which are located in separate buildings, are each named after an island of the Aegean Sea. This is an affordable family holiday destination which offers comfort, quality, space and style for the enjoyment of the whole family. Getting to the aparthotel: The Blue Aegean is approximately 18 kms from Heraklion Airport (HER). Local Tips: This is an extremely pretty resort with lots of local character and many historical and cultural sights to visit if you want to stretch your legs and get and about occasionally. FACILITIES: There are lots of things to do here at the Blue Aegean Aparthotel - you will be spoilt for choice and may not want to leave the grounds at all! Food, drink and entertainment: The complex offers a restaurant, bar and snack bar. The a la carte restaurant offers a wide range of dishes, including traditional English breakfast, Greek Meze, Italian cuisine and International favourites. There is a daytime and night time entertainment programme, lounges, sun terraces, sitting areas, and satellite TV. Sports, games and activities: There is a swimming pool, table tennis, aquaerobics, darts, karaoke, water polo and a gym. For the kids: Children's seating and baby highchairs are available in the restaurant, kids swimming pool, video games room, a mini club (July - August) and a playground. Additional: 24 hour reception, money exchange, self service laundry room, children toilets, small library, check out room with showers, gift shop and a mini market. Disabled facilities include shower seats and grab rails and doors are 82cm wide - there is good access throughout the hotel. Internet corner and WiFi in lobby, pool and bar areas at extra charge.
