Just inside the mouth of the River, set on 130 acres of parkland and forest, Big 4 Saltwater takes pride of place between the major towns of Yamba and Maclean on the Clarence River at Palmers Island. Palmers Island is the second largest of all the islands in the Clarence. It is ideally situated close enough to the towns to have access to all facilities, yet far enough away to maintain the completely peaceful and secluded atmosphere you are really looking for. Kangaroos feed at the forest edge early in the morning and over 70 species of native birds can be seen at various times through the seasons.
