The hotel was built by the Victorians, adjacent to beautiful Courtenay Park. Today both business and leisure visitors will find all essential modern facilities and a friendly atmosphere. The small onsite car park is available for pre-booking at £5 per car per night; otherwise there is ample on road car parking, free overnight, or a local paid for car park within 200 yards. The Queens Hotel is a town centre hotel providing full hotel services including an all day limited menu for bar meals and room service. If you are after more formal dining, within easy walking distance of the hotel are a range of places to eat - just ask us at the hotel for our recommendations. The hotel is closed from 24th December until 4th January 2011.The hotel is currently having a face lift and therefore there is some scaffolding; inconvenience to guests will be kept to a minimum and all services are uninterrupted.
