This hotel is located in the centre of the well-known copper-mining town of roeros, in the old Bergstaden district. Roeros and the old Bergstaden are among the few places in Norway which appear on UNESCO's list of culltural heritage sites designated as worthy of conservation. With it's location right in the middle of Norway, Roeros has good road connections north and south, as well as with Sweden. Visit Roeros church dating from 1784, the mines, see the handicrafts, or why not try tobogganing, beaver safaris, dogsledding trips, hunting, fishing or walks.
