The Beech Tree Inn and Cottage is one of the many Victorian homes that have been converted into hotels in Newport. The hotel is located on Newport’s quiet “Historic Hill.” Guests can enjoy New England’s historical charm as they stroll from the hotel to one of the towns many sites including the famous Newport Harbor with its abundant water sport and fishing opportunities. Boat tours are available of the harbor area. The center of Newport is about 35 miles from Providence International Airport. Taxi service is available at the Beech Tree Inn and Cottage, as well. Many of the Beech Tree Inn and Cottage’s rooms have fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs. Amenities include hair dryers and irons and access to soda and ice machines. Additional amenities include air conditioning, private bathrooms, blackout drapes and more. The Beech Tree Inn and Cottage was built in 1887. It has been renovated and offers a range of amenities.
