The inn is available as a large private guesthouse or by individual room on a bed and breakfast basis. All of our nine guest rooms are adorned with elegant accents, each individual in design. Therein you will find fine linens, down pillows and a private bath. The Bee and Thistle Inns spa is a retreat from the chaos and the fast paced world. Designed to specifically provide you with calm space to relax, escape and recharge from your daily life. While you relax as our guest, there are many pleasant diversions just minutes away. You can choose from local museums, galleries, musicals and plays or enjoy our beautiful English gardens. The inn is a perennial favorite thanks to its outstanding New American cuisine and upscale hospitatlity. It has a well-earned reputation as one of Connecticuts most romantic spots along the shore. Check-in is at 2 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions.
