The Beacon Hotel and Corporate Quarters, completed a multi-million dollar renovation April 2005 presenting guests visiting our nation's capital with a fresh approach to business and leisure accommodations by combining the latest in design concepts, technology and traditional values of comfort. Heavy emphasis on complimenting the quality of life of our guests is placed by providing a full menu of services. There is no reason to forfeit ones lifestyle and taste at the expense of efficiency. The hotel design is provide guests with real life and material comfort and conveniences, yet stimulating and pleasing to the senses. Public and private spaces have rich materials providing them rooms with sex appeal enveloping our guests with instant sensory stimulation. Focused on providing guests an urban sense of relaxation and style coupled with luxury of space. Accommodations provide the luxurious feel of space to live and work in with ample and comfortable seating, work and relax, where you are actually encouraged to kick off your shoes and put your feet up. Each room, is equipped for serious work, high speed internet, wireless internet, flat screened TV's, with Web TV, desks with ample space to spread your work and dine with proper lighting to work and or relax. The Beacon Hotel features 60 Corporate Quarter studio suites with a fully stocked pantry style kitchen, with contemporary amenities. The cabinetry in rich mahogany tones, marble flooring, richly hued glass tiled walls with seating that efficiently hides under the counter and lighting you can set to the desired mood. The inspiration for the "corporate quarter' was drawn from New York styled studio living; comfortable, efficient, relaxed, purposeful and above all, tasteful. Guests do not have to grapple with the challenges of feeding borrowed fish or watering plants or pet rocks, unless they bring them with them, instead they can tend to their own business. Styled in such a manner as to survive the latest trendy quirks or fads in hotel design. We have created a true modern classic. Quality of life is not a mere concept, we have fully permeated the entire design of the Beacon Hotel & Corporate Quarters, where quests can enjoy dining in the truly metropolitan atmosphere of the Beacon Bar & Grill also known as BB&G, where guests enjoy the congeniality of the local residents or private dining in one of the restaurants many private booths designed for business or intimate dining. Public areas are inviting and rich comfortable plush seating, with just the perfect amount of lighting to set the tone for comfort. Jeweled toned warm and soothing tones prevail throughout, with rich real wood paneling, creating public areas that are inviting and welcoming, where people watching can be developed into an art.
