Basaga is located in Kuching, the capital city of Sarawak in Malaysia on the island of Borneo, an island long known for its rich history, culture and eco-tourism. Our property is a truly unique hotel and travel accommodation concept with a great environment and almost resort-like relaxing atmosphere, unlike any that is currently available in the urban Kuching area. Nestled in a secluded, well wooded private property just a mere 7-minute drive away from the City center, Basaga features an exclusive number of 33 well-appointed rooms with full in-room amenities, an annex which houses a private dormitory and leisure facilities contained on the property grounds for our guests' convenience. Basaga's innovative room products and range of services can accommodate the varying needs of tourists and travelers, offering good service, private seclusion with great value for money. Basaga extends the added convenience of providing transportation for our guests. Airport Shuttle Service Complimentary Airport Transfers are provided for guests staying in our rooms. Simply inform us in advance of your flight arrival and departure details upon reservations and the Basaga Shuttle will transport you to and from the airport free of charge. Walk-in guests will be provided with a complimentary one-way transfer to the airport to catch your onward flight. Basaga City Shuttle Complimentary scheduled daily transportation to and from strategic locations within Kuching are also provided for all our room and Basaga Dormitory guests. Current schedules will be provided upon check-in. Chartered Shuttle Chartered shuttle is also available for guests wishing to travel at unscheduled times to unscheduled locations. This service is provided with a small fare schedule which can be obtained from the Reception counter. BarSaga is an amazing outdoor open concept bar serving a good variety of beverages and cocktails. The daytime atmosphere is definitely cool and relaxing, and at night it turns into an amazing social spot with great ambience; the lighting, the breeze, plus the wide and very cool music selection ever present in the background. Seating is available in the main courtyard, the bar deck and the Mainhouse Terrace areas. For those who prefer privacy, there are 2 air-conditioned private rooms available with prior reservation at the front desk. The Restaurant At Basaga The Restaurant is also located in the main courtyard. The atmosphere is casual with good eats ranging from finger foods, grills and main dishes. Choose from a selection of all time favorites from both Asian and Western cuisine prepared by our in-house chef. Diners may choose to have dinner in the main courtyard itself, or at the bar deck, Mainhouse Terrace or in the Basaga Private Rooms. Barbecue days are Sundays where you can savor succulently seasoned meats and grilled vegetables under the sun in a secluded resort atmosphere. The Restaurant is open from 8.30 am - 10.00 am for breakfast and from 12.00 pm till midnight daily for all-day dining. In-House hotel guests can order from the bar for food to be sent to the rooms.
