The Banana Fan Sea Resort is situated at the south end of Chaweng Beach with its fine white, powdery sand. It lies within close proximity of the area's famous shopping, entertainment and nightlife areas. Samui Airport is approximately 10 km from the accommodation. A magical oasis in a tropical paradise, this resort lies on the most beautiful part of Samui's famous Chaweng Beach in the Gulf of Thailand. Comprising a total of 73 guest rooms and suites, the club resort welcomes its guests into a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe and currency exchange facilities. On-site facilities include a bar and restaurant, WLAN Internet access, and room and laundry services. Guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the nearby car park. The resort offers a range of room types. Superior rooms are set in a cluster building which lies close to the lobby. Some rooms face the beach road and have soundproofed walls. The large rooms are 24 m and are the furthest away from the beach and pool areas. Each room has an en suite bathroom with a bath and shower, as well as a hairdryer. Further standard facilities include satellite TV, a minibar, an international direct dial telephone, a private combination safe, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and many more amenities. Meanwhile, the deluxe rooms are in two or four-room cluster bungalows, located in the garden. The beds are double or king-size and ironing sets and individually regulated air conditioning also feature. This resort features an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming area, with sun loungers and parasols laid out poolside. Guests can relax with a massage or can head to the nearby sandy beach, which offers the following water sports facilities: boating, sailing, diving and snorkelling. Other activities available include adventure safaris, elephant treks or tours to the waterfalls, Big Buddha and other attractions on the island. The hotel is home to Baitong restaurant, an open-air, beachfront restaurant which serves a daily buffet breakfast, as well as Thai favourites, light meals, snacks, and lunches and dinners from set menus or la carte.
