Banana Bungalows in West Hollywood is one of the most popular hostels in the country. The hostel is located in a central location right in the hottest spot of the "Melrose Strip". The Melrose area is a very special part of Los Angeles. It is located on the West side of Hollywood and borders Beverly Hills, you can walk to many of the great experiences that Hollywood has to offer plus you will be centrally located to access all the sights and sounds of LA. Melrose is a fantastic place to shop, eat, people watch and check out the latest worldwide trends in clothing, music, fashion and food, easily, safely and all on a traveller's budget. The hostel is a safe and secure two-story Hostel featuring newly remodelled rooms. Private rooms have a comfortable queen size bed, small refrigerator, fans, air conditioning and satellite TV, some having sunny balconies and high ceilings, or a beautiful view of the Tiki Courtyard, the West Hollywood Hills or Fairfax Avenue. Dorms have 6 per room, all with closet space, shelves, fans, air conditioning and their own private baths and showers. They are clean and well kept. All rooms have a cool, colourful, retro-futuristic design with hip furniture and clean living space, giving the place a fun swanky Hotel vibe. Private rooms have either: 1) One Queen size bed 2) Queen and two bunk beds.
