The perfect place of scuba diving in Philippines. ACTIVITIES in PUERTO GALERA Puerto Galera Hash House Harriers Three bored Englishmen started 'Hash Running' in 1938. The first 'runs' were from the Selangor Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the objective has always been the same... to find the hidden beer. A 'Hare' sets a chalk trail (usually with check backs where the front runners have to check for false markings) that takes the runners (well, most are walkers) around a scenic trail to the ON ON. (The On On being the post walkrun party... lots of beer and often food). There are now more than 1854 chapters (or clubs) in 154 countries. It's a great way to see the area... The 'Hashers' meet every Sunday at 4pm outside Captain Greggs on Sabang Beach, 15 minutes boat ride from Bamboo Beach. P200 for first timers (Virgins) includes T-shirt and lots of drinks. P100 for Regulars. And if you belong to another Hash club, don't forget your clubs hash t-shirt, otherwise, you know what awaits you! Ponderosa Golf Club This beautiful golf course situated at the foot of Mount Malasimbo has a challenging 9-hole course and stunning views (some of the best in the area). Don't miss this opportunity to view Puerto Galera and the entire bay and surrounding area from 2000ft... and don't forget your camera! (Minimum of 3 participants) 65 US $ per person (green fees, caddy and lunch included) All clubs, balls etc. are available for rent, they will even provide someone to get your drinks.
