The Hotel Balneario TermaEuropa Carlos III is set within an impressive 40-hectare estate surrounded by oaks, Holm oaks and pines and encircled by the Tajo River. It is located in the heart of the region of Alcarria, very close to Madrid. This spa hotel was founded in the 18th Century by Madrid's king and mayor, to whom the establishment owes its name, and the present-day building was inaugurated on August 1, 2005. The TermaEuropa Carlos III tourist complex comprises the newly-constructed hotel, with 86 air-conditioned rooms and direct access to the spa, the rural/spa tourist area of El Colvillo, which has 25 chalets, and the large historic park surrounding the spa and containing the archaeological remains of the former spa and the royal wine cellars. It also has rooms for meetings, incentive events and banquets and possibilities for outdoor activities. Further facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a lift, a cafe, a bar, a restaurant and Internet access. Guests may also take advantage of the room and laundry services and there is parking on hand for those arriving by car. Younger guests will enjoy the children's playground. All rooms come with a bathtub, a hairdryer, a TV, a minibar and a safe. This hotel features a heated pool and guests may also relax in the spa tub or sauna or enjoy a massage. Sports enthusiasts may indulge in a work-out in the gym. The hotel lays on separate programmes of entertainment for children and adults. Guests may select their breakfast from a buffet. Guests coming from the A2 expressway (Madrid-Zaragoza) towards Zaragoza should take exit 101 for Almadrones-Cifuentes. Take the N204 toward Cifuentes. After Cifuentes continue on the N204 towards Sacedn. In Grgoles de Abajo, turn onto the CM2115 toward Trillo. After arriving in Trillo, follow the signs to the establishment.
