Located at close proximity to central London, Hotel Balkan is a two star hotel with a contemporary outlook yet preserving the traditional homely essence of a B and B. Located amidst Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush areas on the Shepherd's Bush Road; The Bush Theatre, BBC TV Centre (White City), Empire Shepherd's Bush, Carling Apollo Hammersmith, Westfield Shopping Centre, Queen's Park Rangers football club, Riverside Studios and Olympia are all on a short walking distance, while all the central London attractions are a mere 15 20 minutes away. If travelling by road, it benefits by lying just outside the borders of the congestion Charge Zone (no congestion charge) with very easy access to A4, M4, A40 and M40 motorways. Travelling by metro; the Shepherds Bush station (Central, Hammersmith and City line) and Hammersmith stations are a short walk away, the former 5 and the latter a 10 min walk. BUS: Take any of 220, 283, 295 or 72, they all stop near to Hotel Balkan just 40 metres from hotel on Shepherds Bush Road. Underground: Hotel Balkan is located near to 3 underground stations, Shepherds bush Station (Central Line) 4mins walk, Shepherds Bush Market (Hammersmith and City Line) 6mins walk, Hammersmith (Piccadilly, Cricle and Hammersmith Lines) 8mins walk. Car- Hammersmith is on the west side of London. Its near to M4, just 5 miles to the west of London. It becomes the A4 and leads to the centre of London via Hammersmith. - The M40 is to the north west of London, it becomes the A40. Take the White City or Shepherds Bush exit and follow the signs to Hammersmith. The first left turn from Shepherds Bush Green is Shepherds Bush road. From the north of London, follow the M1. - Turn right where you join the A406, heading to Neasden and Hanger Lane, turn left for the A40. Or, if there is heavy traffic, follow the A406 through to Ealing and join the A4 at the Chiswick roundabout. - From South London you can use either the M3 or the A3, both of which lead to the south circular A406, from where you should follow the signs to Putney or Fulham which lead to Hammersmith.
