This charming, family-friendly country hotel comprises a total of 24 double rooms and 8 fully equipped semi-detached wooden bungalows. Facilities on offer to guests include a hotel safe, lift access, a caf with a terrace, an international restaurant and conference facilities. Guests have Internet access at their disposal and they can also take advantage of the room and laundry services for an additional fee. Parking is available for those arriving by car. This hotel is located in the traditional Spanish village of Competa, nestled in the mountains and set at 638 m above sea level. Guests will find the Iglesia de la Asuncion and the Paseo de las Tradiciones 500 m away and it is 800 m to Plaza de la Vendimia and 1 km to the Parque Natural de las Sierras Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama. Cruz del Monte is 2.5 km and Cruz de Sarja is 3 km. It lies 18 km from the coast, 19 km from Ingenio and its shops, 20 km from Torre del Mar and its beach and 49 km from Malaga, in the heart of the Axarquia, Costa del Sol. Malaga Airport is 58 km away. The rooms and bungalows all come with a fully fitted private bathroom with a bathtub and a hairdryer and offer a double bed. They are equipped with a telephone, a TV, a safe, air conditioning and central heating. All units also feature either a balcony or a terrace. This hotel features 2 outdoor swimming pools, 1 for adults and 1 for children, with a poolside snack bar, sun loungers and parasols. Guests can also relax in the hotel gardens and enjoy a game on the tennis court. It is also possible to go canoeing (charges apply), play a round of golf (for an additional fee), try archery (charges apply) or go horse riding (charges apply). Moreover, sun loungers and parasols are available for guests' use on the beach. The hotel offers guests a restaurant with a terrace. They can select their breakfast from a buffet and the midday and evening meals may be enjoyed in set menu form. Guests arriving from Malaga should take the N340 motorway or the A7 towards Motril-Almeria for some 25-30 minutes. Get off the motorway at the exit for Algarrobo Costa - Caleta de Velez. Stay on this road through Algarrobo and Sayalonga. Upon arriving in Competa, drive down into the village, pass the main car park on the left and follow the signs to the Ermita de San Antonio. The hotel is before the Ermita, on this road. Check-in is between 1 pm and 11 pm.
