Situated on the western portion of the island, this guesthouse resort is located away from the press of the crowds and the noise of the tourist areas of the island. The Baan Rim Nam is located on a canal nearby a small village. The locals here make their living fishing and the town is very quiet. From Bangkok, the flight to Koh Chang is approximately an hour. Guests can rent motorcycles nearby the Baan Rim Nam. There are three rooms for hire at this hotel. The rooms at the Baan Rim Nam have hot water available around the clock. They also have comfortable furnishings and a traditional décor. The rooms are large and bright. This facility is actually a guesthouse, not a traditional hotel. The Baan Rim Nam offers its guests several amenities, however. Guests may rent kayaks at the hotel to get around. While there is no restaurant at this establishment, there are several nearby. These restaurants will send a boat to pick up guests of the hotel and deliver them to their establishment.
