Inspired by the natural beauties of simple and healthy living; Baan Krating Chiang Dao is located on a nutrient rich soil where our homegrown pomelo garden blossoms healthily on our property. A boutique resort with 10 private villas and a restaurant are served to visitors who enjoy their drives from Chiang Mai to see a natural limestone cave at Tham Chiang Dao and takingpictures with beautiful flowers of Doi Angkhang Royal Project. At kilometer 63; guests can take a break from their long drive for a cup of freshly brewed coffee and a quick lunch. We have created a mountain boutique resort while maintaining the core characteristicsof Thai hospitality with the flexibility of private home living. It is a wonderful place to be relaxed and enjoyed the beauty of Mae Ping River and the peaceful Northern forest. With 10 private comfortable villas by Mae Ping River; Baan Krating Chiang Dao is the only boutique riverside resort in Amphur Chiang Dao where healthy pomelo trees are created a unique living atmosphere for the property. On a sunny day; guests can enjoy the view of Doi Luang from our Sorny Restaurant or enjoy listening to the sound of tropical birds in the near-by forest. At night; guests can relax by our campfire while sipping a cup of warm hot chocolate to cope with the cool Northern air. Baan Krating Chiang Dao not only offers relaxing and cozy accommodations; but also a comfortable restaurant where guests can relax after a long drive from Doi Angkhang or a day of sightseeing in Chiang Dao. Sorny Restaurant; the only riverside restaurant closest to the town of Chiang Dao; serves traditional Northern Thai cuisine from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. Our gourmet coffee bar and fresh fruits smoothie bar is also available.
