The Best Western Hotel Salobrena is located on the Costa Tropical, on a small hill over a bay and in an idyllic and quiet location. The small, picturesque area of Salobrea offers good shopping and entertainment venues, located around 3 km away. A rocky/ shingle beach can be reached by crossing a small winding street about 500 m from the hotel. A bus stop for public transport can also be found within 500 m of the hotel. Mlaga airport is around a 75-minute car journey (around 95 km away). Dependent on the season, a hotel bus runs four times a day between the hotel and Salobrea. The hotel complex was completely renovated in 2004. It comprises a 3 floor main building and a 6-floor annexe block, with altogether 195 rooms of which 181 are double rooms and 9 are single rooms as well as 5 suites. The main building offers guests a lobby area with 24-hour reception, a lift, a currency exchange desk and a safe. The complex includes a hairdresser's salon, a TV and lounge area, a conference room, a caf and an air-conditioned restaurant with highchairs for infants. Services on offer here include a public Internet terminal, bicycle hire and laundry services. The outdoor complex includes a children's play area. Car parking and garage facilities are on offer outside. The spacious and rustic rooms come with a bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a radio, a hire safe, an Internet connection and individually-regulated heating. The luxury rooms in the annexe block also include a minibar and a balcony with views out over the sea. With the backdrop of an old watchtower, the leafy garden complex offers guests a pool, a pool/ snack bar (July and August) as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Tennis, table tennis and billiards can be tried out at an extra charge. bocce is available at no extra charge. Guests are offered an entertainment programme and children a kids club in the high season (July, August and September). The nearest golf course lies about 8 km away. Guests are offered breakfast, lunch and evening meals in the form of a buffet.
