Owned and operated by the same family since its inception in 1964, also being Best Western since then, the Best Western Chateau Ville Motor Inn is committed to the highest possible level of service to our guests. Whether you are here on business or pleasure, we want you to have a pleasant memory of Gatesville and the Best Western Chateau Ville Motor Inn. If you get a chance, drive out by the state prison units, go to Fort Hood, the largest military installation in the world, or visit the Medical Plastics Laboratory, the only maker of plastic skeletons in the U.S. A new attraction is President Bush's ranch in nearby Crawford, about twenty miles away. Ask the desk clerk for directions. Closer to home, we have one of the most beautiful county courthouses in the state. Also check out our local museum, well-known for its huge spur collection, and our new library. You'll be glad you did. For golfers, Gatesville has one of the finest 18-hole courses in the area. It's usually not crowded and the cost is reasonable. The Best Western Chateau Ville Motor Inn is especially suited for large group functions, with beautiful and spacious surroundings, a large pool and ample parking for trucks and vans. In addition, meeting rooms are available. We host several family reunions, prison ministry groups and other organizations throughout the year. We look forward to your visit.
