The hotel is situated between the Gare du Nord and the Opera Garnier, in a charming and typically Parisian district, with small pedestrian streets and local shops. The nearest subway station is "Cadet" or "Poissonniere"(line 7). Opera Garnier and Bvd Haussmann stations where Department Stores are on the same metro line, 2 stops away. There are several bus stations nearby. It is a good 3-star hotel with attentive staff. 1900s, Haussmann-style, 7-storey building. The breakfast room is on the basement floor. It is a vaulted room with roughhewn stone walls and a warm, wooden flooring. The lobby is a large open space for the reception, rest area and a bar. The whole lobby has a cosy atmosphere, with black leather sofas and chandeliers. There is a small library with red tone sofas next to the bar. Drawings and pictures add a touch of "Belle Epoque" to this tasteful area. The hotel is equipped with free Wifi and there is a cyberspace table next to the reception. The rooms and bathrooms are medium in size and are in very good condition. Bedrooms are decorated in a contemporary and comfortable style, with an individual touch; equipped with dark wooden furniture and painted in trendy colours; some rooms contain works of art. Bathrooms are well-equipped, with a large mirror. There's a safety deposit box in each room. The hotel has free Wifi (high-speed wireless access to PC & Internet). 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 15 kms to the airport (orly), 2 minute walk to the nearest metro station (cadet/poissonniere), 20 km to the nearest fair site (villepinte bourget), 20 kms to the airport (charles de gaulle), Close to the station (gare du nord).
