The Avalon Hotelpark Konigshof enjoys a calm location and is a spacious three-star resort with many facilities for events and leisure. Our 174 hotel rooms are comfortably equipped and provide shower or tub, toilet, cable TV, cosmetic mirror and hair-dryer. Moreover, WLAN is available throughout the building for a surcharge. The gastronomic variety is another point of attraction for the guests of the Avalon Hotelpark Konigshof. The Merlin restaurant is open to individual travellers from 11:30 a.m. until 02:30 p.m. and from 06:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. and treats you with regional and international specialties. We serve our conference guests delicious and healthy dishes during all breaks according to our motto ”Fit and active throughout the day with Avalon”. The adjacent Benjamin lounge is ideal for celebrations and business lunches. Both rooms are connected and open up onto a terrace facing the quiet Elm hill landscape. The Sport Bistro B & B is set next to the indoor tennis court and offers a variety of snacks. It is also open during events in the congress hall. The hotel bar with its adjacent beer-garden is also a popular meeting point and an ideal place to conclude the day with a fresh draught beer in a convivial atmosphere. The Balance Beauty Farm guarantees moments of pure relaxation. We offer you an attractive programme from which you can choose what suits you best . Our fitness centre is provided with modern equipment and a coach will be pleased to give you advice and instructions. Moreover, the hotel includes skittle and bowling alleys and 4 indoor tennis courts as well as a billiard table. Our hotel is a perfect starting point for all kinds of leisure activities such as tours in a horse-drawn covered wagon through the forest and meadow landscape, golf, hiking in the Elm hills (the largest beech woods in Germany), a guided tour around the town of Konigslutter or a guided tour through the Emperor´s Cathedral one of the most significant Romanesque buildings in Northern Germany.
