In his mothers bistro where he spent his teenage years- Jacques Thorel acquired a passion for authentic cuisine and fine wines. At the Auberge Bretonne- this chef celebrates the culinary traditions of his region- with a bold but subtle twist. Here- the traditional black wheat galette is served with lobster and crepes and the apricot tartine is sprinkled with lavender. He and his wife Solange have developed one of the greatest wine lists in all of France. Unbeatable.
