What began as a YWCA retreat in 1913 is now a charming ocean-side Monterey beach resort for travelers seeking respite and renewal. The California resort's secluded guest rooms and suites offer tranquility and harmony - a wonderful escape from the demands of everyday life. Asilomar is peaceful and rustic, with 313 rooms located in 30 buildings nestled along the shoreline forests and dunes. Accommodations here are truly dedicated to rest and reflection; therefore guest rooms are free of distractions such as telephones and televisions, but they do have Alarm/Clock radio. The hotel also provide free breakfast to its guests.
