The Arthur Bed & Breakfast is in a historic house that dates back to 1872 and was originally used as a convent. Severely damaged in both of the World Wars, it went through several phrases of renovation, the most recent being from 2007 to 2009. This non-smoking property includes a lounge area with a fireplace where guests can relax, plus a sunny city garden. Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. This elegant bed and breakfast accommodation is located in Oeselgem, near an arm of the Leie River. Approx. 5 km/3.1 miles to the north is the main town of Dentergem, a historic town known for its breweries. Dozens of historic farmhouses, cafes, chapels, and other structures can be found in the vicinity. Of particular note are the Liefmans Brewery, built in 1896, and the village church with its distinctive tower. To the west are Poelberg Hill and a forest called the Meikensbos or Vijverbos, with good walking and cycling routes. The Arthur Bed & Breakfast is less than 15 km/9.3 miles from the cities of Tielt, Deinze, and Waregem.
